FAQs

Important disclaimer

Users remain responsible for business decisions, strategic direction, information validation, legal and compliance review, KPI approval, and final campaign approval. Brief Generator supports but does not replace human judgment.

Brief Generator is an AI-powered marketing briefing tool that helps Visa marketers create stronger, clearer, and more actionable creative briefs quickly through a guided workflow. Brief Generator can reduce a 3-5 hour manual process to as little as 15-30 minutes.

  • Create from scratch or existing materials — Attach files or paste unstructured content; the tool maps details directly into the intake form.
  • Generate a first draft in seconds — Choose from three templates (Client Marketing, Brand, or B2B) and auto-populate sections based on your inputs.
  • Refine individual sections — Regenerate or edit specific fields with AI assistance without redoing the entire brief.
  • Edit in a focused workspace — Work full-screen with section-level AI support and version history to restore earlier content when needed.
  • Run an AI quality review — The AI Reviewer assesses your brief, provides evidence for each finding, and recommends one-click edits you can apply.
  • Finalize and keep revising — Finalized briefs can still be revised or versioned as needed to evolve.
  • Export — Download as Word, Markdown, or PDF.

Built for Visa marketers who create structured briefs daily, across Brand, Client Marketing, B2B, Product, Regional Marketing, Sponsorship, and Campaign Management.

Whether you're launching a campaign, briefing an agency, or documenting a regional initiative, the tool adapts with dedicated templates and AI-assisted drafting.

No. Brief Generator accelerates brief development. It doesn't replace the strategic thinking, creative development, or agency collaboration behind great marketing.

It helps you move from a blank page to a strong first draft faster, while marketing expertise, creative judgment, and approvals remain in your hands.

Brief Generator uses Visa-approved authentication and access controls. Access it at amigo-briefs-oce.visa.com/brief.

For best results, have key inputs ready such as campaign objectives, target audience, market context, research, KPIs, and constraints (budget, timeline, channels).

It doesn't need to be polished. Attach files or paste rough notes, and Brief Generator will map details into the brief. The more context you provide, the stronger your first draft.

A typical first draft can be generated in about 10 minutes, depending on brief complexity and context provided.

Briefs with clear objectives, existing research, and supporting files generate faster and need fewer refinements.

Brief Generator guides you through six stages:

  • Input — Add context, files, or notes.
  • Generate — AI creates a first draft.
  • Editing — Refine sections with AI assistance.
  • Evaluation — Review AI feedback and suggested edits.
  • Supplementary — Complete remaining execution details.
  • Finalized — Export in your preferred format.

Brief Generator supports three brief types:

  • Client Marketing — Co-branded campaigns with issuing bank partners.
  • B2B — Campaigns targeting merchant acquirers or enterprise partners.
  • Brand — Regional brand awareness campaigns and sponsorship activations.

Each template is tailored to its audience, helping AI generate relevant content.

Smart Fill extracts information from source materials—prior briefs, emails, notes, campaign documents, research—and maps it into the intake form.

Upload files or paste content to skip manual entry and save time.

Yes. The AI Quality Reviewer assesses existing briefs and helps strengthen objectives, insights, messaging, KPIs, and strategic direction.

It provides evidence for each finding and recommends one-click edits. You can refine individual sections without regenerating the full brief, and version history lets you restore earlier content.

Yes. The platform generates alternative strategic approaches—messaging angles, positioning, or campaign framing—so you can compare directions side by side before selecting one to refine.

During Evaluation, the AI Quality Reviewer analyzes your brief and surfaces strengths, weaknesses, logic gaps, and compliance considerations—with evidence for each finding. It offers recommended edits you can apply or undo in one click, helping you tighten the brief before finalization.

Yes. Version history preserves every draft, so you can explore alternatives or incorporate feedback without losing earlier work—and restore any version if a change doesn't work out.

Compare Briefs lets you view versions side by side—see how content has evolved, weigh alternatives, and decide which version or combination of edits to carry forward.

It incorporates available client context, strategic priorities, campaign goals, and lifecycle-stage considerations.

Acquisition, EMOB, Usage, Retention, Deepening, Conversion, and Upgrades.

Yes. The platform may use approved internal Visa information, authorized integrations, and external research sources.

Not currently. Citation and source attribution are coming soon.

Review unsupported facts, missing citations, unverified statistics, contradictory statements, or recommendations that cannot be validated.

The platform first breaks a user's question into 3-8 targeted search requests that capture the key themes of the inquiry.

For example, a question such as "What can Visa do to increase loyalty in 2026?" may be decomposed into searches like "loyalty landscape 2026," "consumer rewards trends," and "payments loyalty innovation."

Yes. The system reviews all retrieved sources collectively before generating a response. If the available information is insufficient to confidently answer the question, additional search cycles are performed to gather more evidence.

No. After collecting sources, the system performs a relevance review and filters out documents that do not materially contribute to answering the user's question.

For example, an initial search may retrieve 30 documents, but only the 9 most relevant sources may be used in the final response.

Yes. Older sources are not automatically excluded. Instead, they receive a lower recency score compared with documents that are more closely aligned to the requested timeframe.

Upload only authorized business content that complies with Visa policies and information-handling requirements.

Do not upload restricted PII, unauthorized client information, credentials, or unapproved sensitive material.

Only upload content that is the appropriate Information Classification for your intended use and complies with Visa's terms of use for this tool. Do not upload confidential client information or Visa Restricted - PII content.

No. All generated content should be reviewed, refined, validated, and approved before use.

Review objectives, audience, insights, messaging, client and product information, citations, KPIs, compliance considerations, and approvals.
